Roger - Old Customs Warehouse

Austere and pungent, this is how the Bitter Extra Strong “Roger” presents itself, created by the Vecchio Magazzino Doganale starting from a careful selection of local “botanicals” left to infuse, among which we find the bitter orange of Bisignano, the Bergamot of Roccella Ionica and the PGI Lemon of Rocca Imperiale.

Each processing phase has a highly artisanal profile, so much so that no coloring is added nor is filtration carried out before final bottling.

A unique and unconventional product, so much so that the label reads: “Keep Below Banco”.

Extremely suitable for both mixing and drinking neat, to fully enjoy strong flavours.

Upon visual examination it presents itself with a deep and concentrated red colour, slightly cloudy as it is not filtered before bottling.

The aromas that spread to the nose move on a citrus and floral trace, enriched with fruity and spicy hints, from which a reference to the aromatic herbs of the Mediterranean also emerges.

In the mouth it is medium-bodied, balanced, with a strong bitter flavour.
